Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead internal control audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow analysis
- Oversee tax preparation and compliance for state/federal filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial audits and compliance projects
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
