Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with accuracy
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting systems
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Provide strategic financial guidance to clients across diverse industries
- Mentor junior accountants and ensure best practices implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public practice
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
