Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities
- Collaborate with internal audit and external auditors during financial reviews
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
