Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Colorado state tax regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial operations efficiency
- Conduct internal audits and ensure data integrity across accounting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or equivalent accounting software
- Deep understanding of Colorado tax laws and financial reporting requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for client-facing interactions
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidation processes
