Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct audits and provide actionable financial insights to stakeholders
- Manage tax preparation and compliance for corporate clients
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit procedures
