- Perform complex financial modeling and valuation analyses for energy sector clients
- Develop detailed budgets, forecasts, and variance reports with 95%+ accuracy
- Lead cross-functional financial strategy sessions with department heads
- Automate financial reporting processes using Power BI and Excel VBA
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify investment opportunities
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards
- Mentor junior analysts on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in financial analysis or investment banking
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query)
- SQL and Power BI certification or demonstrable experience
- Deep understanding of energy sector financial dynamics
- CFA or CPA designation strongly preferred
- Proven ability to present complex financial data to C-suite executives
