Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable operations to maintain healthy cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and variance reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
