Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate clients
- Implement and optimize accounting systems to enhance operational efficiency
- Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax regulations and auditing standards
