Job Summary:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to support our accounting department. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the preparation of quarterly audits.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to enter and verify data.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or internship background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with GAAP principles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
