Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Prepare and review complex tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile complex bank statements
- Lead special projects including system implementations and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities for stakeholder interactions
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
