Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger operations, including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and budgets for executive review.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and GAAP standards.
- Provide financial guidance and support to management on operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
