Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings in compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead internal audits and implement internal controls to mitigate risk
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and cash management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of process optimization and efficiency gains
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
