Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Lead internal audits and compliance initiatives ensuring adherence to GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models supporting strategic business decisions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Prepare tax documentation and coordinate with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
