Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and coordinate with external auditors.
- Streamline accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize cash flow.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed financial reports to management.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proven experience with financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
