Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Perform monthly and annual bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external auditors during audits.
- Monitor and enforce internal controls and company financial policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast budgets and manage cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance staff.
