Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, financial reporting, and month-end close
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process optimization
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements while implementing internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes while maintaining vendor/client relationships
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP) for data analysis
- Prepare detailed financial statements, tax documentation, and regulatory filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate environment
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) and accounting systems
- Proven experience with month-end close, reconciliation, and financial analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts
- Tax preparation experience and familiarity with Oklahoma/Texas tax regulations
