Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Prepare and submit tax filings while managing audit processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations and audits
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership experience with cross-functional teams
