Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow operations
- Develop financial models and variance reports for executive decision-making
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external audit processes
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven experience leading month-end close processes
