Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Vendor relationship management and dispute resolution for 200+ active suppliers
- Implement and optimize AP automation tools to reduce processing time by 30%
- Month-end closing support with AP reconciliations and accrual management
- Develop internal controls and ensure SOX compliance for AP processes
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Certification in AP (APPC or CAPP) preferred
- Proven experience implementing AP automation technologies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setting
