Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) a plus
