Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings.
- Monitor budget variances and provide insightful financial reporting to management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
