Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize monthly/quarterly financial reporting processes
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with tax departments on accurate filings and tax strategies
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and financial software
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end/quarter-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
