Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with actionable insights for leadership
- Lead compliance initiatives including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure operational efficiency and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
