Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) for executive review
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with tax department to support quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy
- Maintain digital and physical financial records with robust organizational systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance regulations
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
