Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP compliance
- Prepare tax documentation and support annual audits
- Analyze financial data for operational efficiency improvements
- Maintain compliance with SEC and state regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
