As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and has a passion for precision.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Review general ledger entries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
