Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accurate and timely month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Manage general ledger activities, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and properly documented.
  • Perform detailed bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable workflows.
  • Assist external auditors during annual audits and prepare required schedules and documentation.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes and forecasting models.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
