Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accurate and timely month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and properly documented.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable workflows.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and prepare required schedules and documentation.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes and forecasting models.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
