Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex reconciliations for multi-entity operations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and implement internal controls for SOX compliance
- Coordinate external audit engagements and tax preparation
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
- Automate reporting workflows using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with ERP implementation (Sage/NetSuite)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
