Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate filings and regulatory compliance
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Develop financial models for budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intaact or similar)
