Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities
- Manage complex reconciliations across GL, AP, and AR modules
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax filings
- Automate financial reporting workflows using Power BI and Excel
- Mentor junior accountants on technical accounting standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
