Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements for 50+ clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance (federal/state/local)
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports
- Lead month-end closing procedures with strict deadline adherence
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Maintain internal controls for SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with multi-state tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environment
