Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations and account reconciliations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for multiple entities
- Develop financial models and ad-hoc reporting for executive leadership
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of NY tax regulations and SEC reporting
- Proven experience managing month-end closing cycles
