Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with 99.9% accuracy
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 50+ employees across multiple entities
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements within tight deadlines
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with strict vendor compliance protocols
- Implement QuickBooks optimization strategies for 3+ client portfolios
- Collaborate with CFO on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in full-cycle bookkeeping with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- Advanced Excel proficiency with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll systems (ADP)
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0 audit findings in last 3 years
- Strong analytical skills with ability to explain financial metrics to non-finance stakeholders
