Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and optimize accounting systems to enhance financial reporting accuracy
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific financial standards
- Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports to support business decision-making
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting platforms
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
