Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all general ledger reconciliations are completed timely and accurately.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
- Assist external auditors during annual reviews and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is a significant plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
