Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports with insightful analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Lead budget preparation and variance analysis initiatives
- Develop process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
