Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the full cycle of AP and AR processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations and company policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger and assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience is preferred.
- Certification: CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately.
