This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely 2 days/week while collaborating with industry leaders in our downtown Nashville office. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies for thriving businesses across healthcare, technology, and entertainment sectors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead audit coordination and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and process improvements
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth decisions
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel with VBA
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Experience with ERP implementation and process optimization
