Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions using QuickBooks
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Prepare basic financial statements under supervision
- Support tax documentation preparation for clients
- Perform data entry and maintain digital financial records
- Participate in quarterly audits alongside senior accountants
- Learn and apply GAAP principles in real-world scenarios
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- QuickBooks familiarity preferred (training provided)
- Valid Washington State driver's license (for client visits)
