Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for mid-market clients
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Lead tax compliance processes for corporate and individual clients
- Implement and optimize accounting systems using QuickBooks and ERP platforms
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior staff on GAAP compliance and financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and GAAP standards
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active Colorado CPA license required
