Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to prepare accurate management reports and variance analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement compliance controls
- Support budgeting processes and forecast financial performance
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Lead process improvement initiatives for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Proven experience with financial reporting and variance analysis
