Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 50+ employees
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and external auditors
- Implement and improve internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives across multiple departments
- Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure accurate tax filings and planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and MS Excel (Advanced functions)
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal audits
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
