Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions within established deadlines
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and variance reports
- Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation (W-2s, 1099s)
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and analysis
- Adhere to GAAP principles and industry compliance standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong numerical aptitude and error-detection skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
