Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger operations, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain financial records
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state tax regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement corrective actions
- Maintain internal controls and improve financial reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
