Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity financial accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for 15+ clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate quarterly tax documentation and year-end closing processes
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance (GAAP/FASB)
- Lead month-end closing procedures and journal entry maintenance
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Proficiency in financial reporting software (e.g., Xero, Sage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
