Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation
- Oversee payroll processing and compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Conduct internal audits and financial analysis
- Collaborate with CPAs and external auditors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Expertise in Excel with complex formulas and pivot tables
- Proven track record in multi-client accounting
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) required
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
