Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide financial reports to management and clients as requested.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; High School Diploma required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
