Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing processes including journal entries and variance analysis
- Support tax preparation activities including document collection and form completion
- Process payroll transactions and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Generate financial reports and dashboards for management review
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/Sage preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
