Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and external audit schedules.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the technology or finance sector.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
