Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly classified.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and supporting schedules for external auditors.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification is a plus).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
